Article 2 (Proper Management and Protection)

Personal information shall be strictly managed, and appropriate preventive and corrective measures shall be taken to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage.

Article 3 (Entrustment)

The Company may entrust all or part of the acquired personal information to subcontractors within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use. In such cases, the Company shall sufficiently examine the eligibility of the subcontractor, stipulate matters regarding confidentiality obligations in the contract, and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the subcontractor.

Article 4 (Provision to Third Parties)

The Company shall not disclose or provide data to third parties except in the following cases:

• (1) When the user has given prior consent.
• (2) When based on laws and regulations.
• (3) When there is a violation of the Terms of Use and there are sufficient grounds to judge that personal information must be disclosed to protect the Company's rights, property, or services.
• (4) When necessary for the protection of a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent.
• (5) When particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent.

Article 5 (Joint Use)

The Company shall not be held responsible if a user reveals personal information to a third party using the functions of each service or other means, or if an individual is identified based on information disclosed by the user on each service.

Article 8 (Creation and Use of Statistical Data)

The Company may create statistical data processed so that individuals cannot be identified based on the acquired personal information. The Company may create and use such statistical data without any restrictions.

Article 9 (Acquisition and Use of Attribute Information and Action History)

The Company may acquire and use information that does not identify individuals, such as the following examples, to make the content of services and advertisements more suitable for users. Information may also be provided to advertisers and information providers for the same purpose. (Cookies, logs, accessed URLs, content, action history such as reference order, device information such as individual identification information, and attribute information such as user's gender, occupation, and age.)

Article 10 (Compliance with Laws and Norms, and Review)

The Company shall comply with Japanese laws and other norms applicable to the personal information it holds, and shall review and improve the contents of this Privacy Policy as appropriate.
